In the Confederate army. Killed at Vicksburg, he left a wife and 5 orphans.

I’ve done pretty well in life financially as have several others in our now very wide extended family.

I wonder what California (or the US) might try to pry out of folks like me in an attempt to right the wrongs of the fathers.
