I've been through that. It doesn't have to be the end if you work on your health, exercise and eating habits. When it happened to me, I spent a few days in ICU, which sucked beyond expectation. To take a dump, they'd pull a toilet out in the middle of the room from underneath and sink and I had to let 'er rip right there in front of God and everybody.
