The higher quality transfers in the portal more likely than not are already being pursued by the top level programs. There are highly rated high school players who de-committed due to coaching situation but they also have prior relationships with other programs that were in their final list before they committed. My comment was about the need to establish themselves. As I said these coaches have already done that. So it comes down to the schools they are taking over. In all the cases the new coach brings players with him and tries to maintain the top players and recruits the last staff had. CDG has done no different. He's bringing players he trust and are familiar with from where he was and maintained the best of what CM had in Brown and Shaw. He couldn't keep Brazil but that happens. Plus the inner workings of that was more than likely put in place before CM left and would have likely happened even had he stayed.
