Sure seems odd.
At least three starters are close to automatic outs.
There simply has to be talent on the bench that can put up more competitive at bats than several of the starters.
There is
no argument for letting a player who is 0 -29 go to the plate.
Being an exceptional left fielder in no way compensates .
There was a time when some on this board wondered when Raabe would hit, or be replaced . That conversation has stopped , yet Raabe produces less than ever. Three home runs and 9 RBI’s for a 1st baseman who now plays every inning ,
Moore has continued to play despite never hitting all year ( except for one fine weekend . What coach would do that ?What would motivate a coach to do that ?
Who would have predicted this team would get such improved pitching , and have the hitting collapse.
I’m convinced , this teams not going to hit now , so the pitching is being asked to do the impossible.
They’ll only score whatever runs four hitters can produce.
I believe Andersen deserves some blame for not giving other players a decent chance to help.
Moll for sure is a more of a threat than the three players mentioned .
No possible way to beat Arizona unless the team somehow breaks out.
Hope I’m wrong.
