Look at the divisions now. The big boys decide what division they're in and who they play. MU and Vandy, two of the weakest programs, aren't going to be in the same pod. They'll be separated in order to give each pod an easy win.
And then we're back to my theory that we vote in OU/TX, we're put in their pod, and eventually we're voted out of the SEC for $$$$ reasons with OU/TX voting against us.
