And the really sick part is that one doesn't even need to actually filibuster anymore, just a wink that you might kinda sorta consider it freezes progress. US govt structure is fckd up. No other country on earth gives the guy coming in second full power. We would be far better off if that were not the case - but the GOP would never win a federal election. The people of the country don't support by and large.
