Sam Horn is getting a lot of buzz for the MLB draft. Here are some thoughts on why Mizzou already knows there is a good chance they won’t get seeing Horn in a Mizzou uniform. What do you think?
1). We just signed a 4 star QB: Why would that guy commit to Mizzou knowing one of the top QB’s in the nation is just one year ahead of him? Mizzou coaching staff already knows he’s not coming
2). Mizzou has been offering every transfer QB on planet earth this spring. Why? They don’t like their current QB’s and are looking for someone who can come in and START. But why would they do that when Horn has mentioned playing day one? Again they know he’s NOT coming to Mizzou.
For those who don’t KNOW… when you’re a high school player baseball players essentially get agents called ADVISORS. Those advisors/agents talk to MLB teams about the draft. The MLB draft is boring because there is no mystery there… the agents already know more or less where every player is going and Sam Horns advisors have probably already told Sam what he should expect money wise.
Agents tell teams NO DO NOT PICK HIM he doesn’t want to go here or there. Either way those agents more or less know everything before the draft happens and if Mizzou is out there trying to get more quarterbacks the writing is on the wall. Sam Horn as probably told Mizzou that if he gets picked by XYZ team, and gets XYZ money he’s going pro. They have also probably told MIzzou that their agent is basically saying that will happen.
Mizzou is probably hoping he doesn’t get the money he’s looking for but I think the writing is on the wall Sam wont be a Tiger hence the search for a new QB continues.
