couldn't do it without downpayment help from their parents.

Of course their parents understood the stability home ownership provided, especially to raising a family.

Now we are letting corporations destroy our neighborhoods by buying single family homes for rental or short term VRBO/AirBNB rentals. They driven up home prices and starter homes are often out of reach for first time home buyers.
