Problem is Missouri is in the SEC. Wisconsin would not look as good in the SEC.

I would say Ole Miss or Miss State is Mizzou’s truest SEC dopplegangers. Without the baseball passion. MBB is historically better at MU and can be again. Football can be competitive and have the great season once and awhile. But overall small towns with smaller fanbases compared to everybody else (& a bit of a hall from a metro in the case of MU & MSU). Pretty campus and cool college towns though (in the case of Mizzou and Ole Miss). Women’s sports can have moments of significance with right coaches. MU needs to create a better tailgating rep!
