The State Dept. ordered and arranged the removal of documents from these labs and the documents were transported to the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine for safekeeping. Why, were the docs in danger of falling into Russian hands? Did the documents contain incriminating information? We don't know the answers. Additionally, the funding source for several of the labs is the U.S. Dept. of Defense. Why does the DOD need to fund biological agent research in Ukraine? Aren't there capable labs within the U.S? Are there legal reasons this research needed to be hidden in Ukraine? Many questions and very few answers.
