Instead of softball questions from feckless reporters that have been cleared and researched in advance, biden would have to take questions from people on the other side of the aisle.

Like most political things, it would be bad for the president but good for the country.

Of course he could just have Chuckles the Veep fill in for him if the Q&A were at nap time.
