researchers finding 2 segments of the SARS CoV-2 virus that were perfect matches for segments that Moderna had patented 3 years before SARS CoV-2 came on the scene.

The Moderna president calmly stated that it was indeed possible that a bio-engineered virus had escaped from a lab and that people sometimes make mistakes.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
