the stacks on power plants to disperse emissions over a greater area, the government should invest in ways to clean the exhaust via fluid wash and chemically treat to remove CO etc, but my professor said, that is a really good idea, but industry is going to take the cheapest way to do something to save money, so raise the stack and disperse over a greater area.
