Newsflash... He doesn't. When someone talks about "spacing" and "movement" it means they don't actually know what plays a team runs.
But mainly, you know why Gonzaga and St. Mary's look better coached? Because they have better players that fit together as a cohesive unit better. Most college teams run similar ball screening offenses now and a few similar set plays every now and again, like a horns set or some type of high motion. But mainly it comes down to getting the right collection of players both stylistically and attitude-wise. If Cuonzo had a pg like Cousy or shooters like Strawthers he'd look like a genius too.
Why is South Dakota St. the best team in the Summit League and 30-4? Primarily because they have better talent than any other team in that league.
