Just make them and their family place their holdings in a blind trust prior to filing, or at the latest, a week prior to their election.
And take all profits from stocks they own, if they knew or should have known, which were obtained by violating the secrecy of the blind trust, and put it into a dedicated account which cannot be used for other purposes, i.e. roads and bridges.
