just plug it in once or twice a week.

But we have 6 cars, and there are nowhere near enough electric cars to go around, nor will there by for quite a few years... and it will take awhile to build out the infrastructure for everyone to have electric vehicles... and there aren't enough used electric vehicles and inexpensive ones for poor people.
