NCAA issues beyond their awareness. But in fact our current coach inherited NCAA issues from the Kim Anderson era.
- In 2015 MU tutor Yolanda Kumar provided impermissible academic benefits to student athlete and basketball player Deuce Bello.
- Nov 2016 the NCAA issued a verbal notice of inquiry.
- March 2017 MU fired Kim Anderson for cratering their basketball program.
- March 2017 MU hired Cuonzo Martin to attempt to rebuild their cratered program.
- April 2017 MU submits 13 student athletes to its honor code process for violations of academic integrity.
- Sept 2017 MU notifies NCAA of its desire to use the summary disposition process
- Feb 2018 the NCAA issued its Notice of Allegations.
- Jan 2019 MU received penalties from the academic impermissible benefits provided during the Kim Anderson era.
I know it isn't in your nature to apologize when proven wrong, so I will proactively just say apology accepted and we can leave it at that.
