- what is the dubious legal authority for seizing Putin's cronies assets? This smacks of "well our only authority is that we can"ism. And perhaps more importantly if they are going to use this mysterious legal authority, why have they not seized Mar -A -Largo and other Trump assets?
-The vaunted Russian is bad. While I can see them bombing or shooting missiles beyond Ukraine, I see little reason to fear the Russian military ground invasion outside of Ukraine. They can't even supply
themselves less than 50 miles beyond their borders.
There is only one logical conclusion in the future,
to begun cutting our military graft and grift by 5%
next year and each year beyond that for the forseeable future. Naturally we will hear much singing and dancing
to the contrary.
I haven't seen any whining and angst from the usual suspects about the floods of refugees flowing into Europe. Seems like it wasn't so long ago many of our handles were cheering for more border walls and police
brutality to keep refugees from getting into Europe.
Speaking of useless counterproductive walls, The Trump 15 billion dollar boondoggle. Over 3000 penetrations (most under Trump's watch) and still we hear simpletons and Fox newsers calling for more border wall. You would think the porous wall advocated by a poor azz human
would have put that canard to bed. i do seem to recall one poster rightly pointing out that an unmanned border wall would be worthless and if you were going to man it, you would not need a wall.
Speaking of canards-OIL. Oh my God oil. So much singing and dancing and idiocy about oil, There are over 9000
existing leases with oil companies over 14 MILLLION acres that are unused - and simpletons yammer endlessly
that rising gas prices are someone's fault other than the oil companies endless profiteering. They do two things during a crisis 1) IMMEDIATELY jack up prices well above any expected shortages AND well before any shortages actually affect the supply and 2) immediately
restrict production to produce even more shortages.
This plays out again and again and again. We should
IMMEDIATELY stop buying Russian oil . Its only 800,000
barrels per day and between 3-5% of our current use.
I actually heard a commentator on of al places- Fox- say that Biden should show some leadership and encourage Americans to use less oil (conservation what a concept).
I agree. Drilling for more oil only causes us to be more dependent on......more oil. Its like a Cuouzo Martin situation. Every smart person knows it should end but because of a few bucks the misery will go on.
Meanwhile we finance Russia's war effort.
You know what would end the price surge, stop the Russian war machine and help people in need? End the Trump embargo of Venezuelan oil. Yup the current gas price problems are largely the result of Trump.
But no, we still giving Russia 6 billion bucks and simultaneously trying to give Ukraine 10 billion .
How about we stop giving Russia any, use 6 billion
to cut our gas prices and give Ukraine only 4 billion?
Nobody looks for solutions or even reasons what to do-everything exists in a grift filled vacuum in DC.
How about POS criminal Roger Stone calling for Jared Kushner to beat braindead for not doing enough to steal the last election? Typical Trumplican.

I know its been hard on many this past half week
