corruption and Paul Manofort was deeply involved in campaigning for Yanukovich and helping build his image as a viable and legitimate leader

BTW Yanukovich was hand picked by Putin to run Ukraine and Manafort with money from Russian oligarchs made millions

Oddly enough a few years later Manafort was a campaign director for a US candidate for President who was helped by Russia
