Ukraine is a corrupt and troubled country. That does not excuse Putin's actions, but it does not absolve Ukraine from its serious issues.

The world is not always pretty. There is not always a pure side and an evil side. But that does not mean there is not always right and wrong. Right and wrong are objective and in no way tied to the worthiness of one side or the other.
People tend to confuse this reality.
