Neither a punch nor object was ever thrown at her husband, according to her testimony. All the guy did was stand up and throw some popcorn.
Reeves is claiming he felt threatened by that at the time. He said he recalled incidents during his time as a cop when people were killed by a single punch. His defense is merely that his age made him vulnerable and that he felt genuinely endangered.
The defense is all about his alleged feelings. He was never actually struck with anything... other than some popcorn that was thrown at him.
