has been nursing resentment over the 2014 'color revolution' Oboma fomented, which resulted in the overthrow of a popularly elected President. Pres. Yanukovych was reputed to be friendly to Russian interests and Oboma wanted him thrown out. Putin could easily have invaded and returned Ukraine to Russian control any time, since 2014. However, he chose a time when Europe and the U.S. are disunited in purpose and the U.S. suffers under weak and fraudulent leadership. Putin knows better than most that Xiden* is in China's pocket and was not popularly and legitimately elected.
