We went 11-15 in the regular season and got 7th in the Big 8 at 4-10.

However, by virtue of winning the conference tournament MU made the NCAA tournament as an automatic qualifier. Then came up just short in double overtime from advancing to the Sweet Sixteen. They were 1 point away from turning one of the worst seasons in MU history to a Sweet Sixteen.
