Summer help. Turnips and radish also good fall cover.

MIG practices and stockpiling are necessary to provide good protein year round. Only let your cattle nip the top third of the plant (1 or 2 bites) then move them. It gives the cattle the best protein and helps the plant recover quicker. Sometimes moving them 1 to 3 times a day depending on paddock size.

We only butcher cattle for sale that reach around 1200 lbs. and between 28 to 32 months make the best carcass.

Not saying the tastes aren't different White fat vs Yellow fat. The grain fed is a mellower beef taste whereas Grass-fed has a more intense beef flavor.

When Grass-fed are raised as read above it can be as tender as grain-fed. It just needs to be prepared differently.
