Heavy investment in wind solar 30 years ago, you are gottamned right. Jimmy Carter put solar panels on the White House some 45 yrs ago and Ronnie tore them down saying we are an oil country. Ever POTUS since then has failed and failed miserably. Automakers see the future with each major contributor going heavily into electric cars today.

Nukes on a small scale should be on the table as a bridge between oil and solar/wind. I could support that.

There are and were no easy solutions to Putin's move. Perhaps he did it now b/c he thinks he can get Trump re-installed in a few years. I don't know.
