The two coaches preceeding Jans, Marvin Menzies and Paul Weir, moved up and failed to have success at their next stops. Menzies was .500 at UNLV and Weir was sub .500 at New Mexico.
Jans is along the same lines - great record at NMSU but is that a byproduct of his coaching acumen or a sign of how poor the WAC has become?
