1. Ask them in their interview if they demand excellence.
If yes go to phase two.
2. Ask them a follow up question on if they accept mediocrity.
If no, hire them.
Give them at least 6 games to see if they win them, and win them "prettily" and convincingly.
If they do not, immediately fire them and try again.
This is the tried and true message board hiring process. Guaranteed to work or a new handle will be created.
