Saw an ad on Fox for black history stuff. It showed in bold letters,
BLACK HISTORY.
Then, OUR HISTORY.
Then, TOLD OUR WAY.
It doesn’t seem like they’re talking to me. It seems like I’m eavesdropping on a conversation between black people. Black history is by black people for black people about black people and to black people.
This is how we bring people together in this country. This is how we unify.
(BTW, the computer automatically capitalizes the word black when it is followed by the word, people. I changed it. Is it racist to change what the computer wants me to do?)
