attacks from all sides like Trump did. He was targeted before he came down the stairs at Trump tower with the full force of the US IC/DOJ and FBI. The democrats made him the devil and a majority of the GOPe would have been happy to get rid of him - bad for business. Some were absolutely complicit in conspiring to do so, including Senator no name.

A coward would have said the hell with it and resigned, which is what they wanted.

He fought them and continues to fight them.
