The offense consists of players who get a pass then play 1on1, waste dribbles and mostly shoot off balance shots. Kobe Brown did this too much. If they can't get off a shot they pass to a player who shoots a ill advised 3. 5 for 16 is not smart basketball, including two air ball threes in the final 5 minutes. Defensively, nobody blocks out which killed Mizzou down the stretch. Careless passing, players turning their backs to the defense while over dribbling resulting in jump balls or turnovers or desperation shots before the clock runs out. In a nutshell, Mizzou gave a great effort but clearly lack fundamental discipline which shows even at home games where they do play with emotion and intensity. It is obvious without a point guard they are leader less and resort too many times to AAU mentality where they don't know the difference between a great shot and a good shot. And passing only occurs out of desperation too many times and way too late when a double team comes. If they had a great coach they would not repeat the same problems again again thruout the season. They are athletic and hungry enough to make improvements on their own but Cuanzo is not the guy for Mizzou. He would be a great Athletic Director or Assistant.
