loyola chicago, and came into columbia off a big win against kentucky. their leading scorer (and arguably the best player in the nation) went 2-15 from the floor, 1-7 from three.

an argument could be made that auburn just had a letdown game because they were coming off a huge win and got caught looking past a horrible MU team.

i give cuonzo martin credit for creating a team that every opponent looks past or has to struggle to find motivation to play against. i guess.
