year coming into the game was 22.2 points. We've been blown out more often than not in our losses.
That said, I agree that there are definite signs of life:
--Road win at Mississippi. Getting a conference win on the road is always a battle, and it came against a decent Mississippi team that's expected to win eight or nine games in league this year. They're battling and they're learning.
--Trevon Brazile has star potential that he could begin to realize as early as next year. He's further along than I thought he'd be coming into the season. Cuonzo needs to make it a priority to play Brazile twenty minutes a game, though. He needs to be on the floor. He's the future centerpiece of this team.
--Amari Davis and Jarron Coleman will be better next season. Both have shown they can play at this level, but their next step is to do it consistently. Same for Degray.
--Aidan Shaw is good enough to contribute on day one. He won't be ready to be the man right away, but he'll be a rotation guy the minute he's on campus.
--Kobe is poised for a first-team all-SEC senior season.
--the transfer portal will have pieces available and we'll be working it as hard as anyone else.
All of these are reasons you stick with Cuonzo for '22-'23 and see where it goes.
