to put your social security number and DL number on the ballot. although I agree with you that this should be cleaned up.

i don't know why many people would be changing DL numbers but ok. It might surprise you to know that if you move counties, move within the county or change your name you also need to update your voter registration. I guess if you change DL #'s for some reason you should probably update your voter registration too.
