History will be brutal to Joe Biden

He ran on a message of healing the country, on bringing everyone together, and he had a real opportunity to do it. The country was weary from COVID, and after four years of bare knuckles political animosity Uncle Joe brought a promise of compromise, healing, and renewal.
Instead, he decided to pursue the farthest left of policies. He decided retribution was more important than the healing he promised. And his admin was inept in handling COVID, Afghanistan, and it's own internal political work. And in that, he has not only alienated the GOP but is actually fracturing his own party nationally. And he now sits with record low ratings for a first year president, and there is no reason to believe anything gets better for him prior to midterms where his party will take a beating.
He had an historic opportunity, and rather than rising to the challenge he wilted in epic fashion.
