It was good to see us play well offensively against Bama, for sure. This could really go three ways, IMO:
1. It was a fluke, and we go back to losing and losing big.
2. We are a little better than most thought from our early season losses, and we'll be mediocre.
3. We are on the upswing and will be over .500 this year with hope toward the future.
I doubt #3 is correct. And if #2 is what we are, it will only prolong this CM tenure as our head coach. My belief is that the Utah and Alabama wins will be enough to get him another year, even if #1 is true.
