The Subaru flathead 4 feels stronger than a typical 4 cylinder and the car handles great in snow and in a steep gravel lot I occasionally have to navigate through.
The Legacy is a pretty roomy cabin, and the EyeSight safety system is better than most out there. Subaru includes it as standard equipment on all their cars since 2018 I think.
Great crash ratings. Decent gas mileage. Almost 33 mpg.
I bought the car for the kids to use because I wanted them to have something safe and reliable. It fits that bill well.
