Q: Did anyone expect them to beat SC?
A: No, not a single soul here thought we would beat SC, or even make it a close game, both before and particularly after we learned Blackwell was out. Anyone who says they thought we would win that game is a liar. And even if they claim now they thought we would win, it doesn’t count now, after the game has been played. The time to make that kind of bold statement is before the game starts, lol. Not after you know the result.

Q: Did anyone expect them to be 13-2?
A: Yeah, I think a lot of people here, including myself, thought there was a decent chance we would be in the 12-3, 13-2 range after the first 15 games, largely because our non con schedule was so soft we had pretty much 11 guaranteed wins. I thought we would lose to Baylor, beat Mo St, lose to SC, and beat Auburn. Was off on Mo St and SC but those cancelled each other out with respect to our overall record.

Statement: The great thing is there have been different players step up and lead.
Response: Agree totally. Our top 6 players have all had career type games at some point this season.

Statement: Everyone knows we lack height.
Response: Please don’t say that, it is so negative. Say we are tallness challenged. That sounds so much better.
