Bama will fall back to the mortal group of programs. They'll still be very good, but not the de facto national champion every year. And that is assuming they don't jump on the coaching carousel for a few rounds before finding the right coach like they did before Saban.
The surprising thing to me is how good Georgia is. And Kirby is still a young man. They could be very good for a very long time. But we'll have to see if he can match Saban's ability to only have guys in the program for 3 years, dealing with a constantly rotating stable of assistant coaches, and dealing with the crazy expectations (from both players and fans) that come with winning. That is where most coaches fail.
Having long-term success like Saban is rare. Very rare. In fact, it's never been done before in the modern era. But even that will have an end. The man is already 70 years old.
