If you love Me, keep My commandments.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

This is love, that we walk according to His commandments.


Don't tell me you love God if you refuse to walk under God's commandments to feed His sheep, to do the work of an evangelist, to abstain from fornication, to feast on His word, and so on.


"So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”

He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”

He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”

He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”

And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”

Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep."


We are not under the ceremonial law, but we are still under the moral commands which do not change.
