Had in January of 2021 you been told
this year we will be out of afghanistan, only 13 more soldiers (out of the thousands who have) will die-and they won't be killed by the Taliban and zero of the thousands of American citizens in Afghanistan will be killed.
Would you have considered that to be cock eyed optomistic and a tremendous sounding achievement?
