The defense only surrendered 3.8 yards per carry.
The real problem is Mizzou could not attack a bad Army secondary.
The sub-par talent level at the QB and WR spots allowed Army to stay in the game.
Thanks to Odom's recruiting we have pretty much had Berkstresser level QB talent with mid major level WRs the past two seasons.
Drink has upgraded WR talent and QB talent coming in. But the MLB could screw up the QB situation so I hope Drink is trying hard to pull a top QB in for 2023 as well.
And Mookie Cooper is a bust. Free up his scholarship.
