is a blatant lie.

Hopefully they have reached herd immunity and will be better protected from newer variants.

But in the big picture it is irrelevant. The entire point of vaccines is to reduce deaths, just like with the flu vaccine.

And there are still millions upon millions of unvaccinated people in the US alone.
