and his worship of Trump will hurt him. If Donnie runs - assuming he is not in prison - DeSantis is done. If he doesn't then ties to Trump may help with a fraction of voters and hurt him with the majority. He is a skilled pol, granted but lockstep with Trump, I don't think a good idea. Trump remains very unpopular in this country. He lost the election by 8 million votes last year.
