There were years we weren't successful or had bad seasons before that, and we certainly had a habit of self inflicting NCAA issues upon ourselves or doing things that prevented our staff from competing. But before 2014 we had basketball school aspirations and expectations, competed against national level programs, and frequently yielded basketball school type results.
In 2012-13 and 2013-14 we won 23 games each season and went to 1 NCAA tourney and 1 NIT and kept getting 5th or 6th in conference and frequently put players in the NBA. And everyone was ****ed, it was viewed as completely unacceptable. Those type of seasons since 2014 have been considerably outside the realm of expectations, nobody can even imagine in a best case scenario us ever reaching them.
