Minors cannot buy guns. There is a mandatory waiting period for purchasing guns. I don't think Doctors should have a say about an individual's right to purchase property (but they probably do have a say when they take an oath to "First do no harm"). And finally, in order to obtain a concealed firearm's license, there must be safety training, which often involves videos.
Now, with that said, it's pretty retarded logic to compare purchasing property to willfully taking a life, but you do you.
