I am a Columbia native and, other than sickness or being out of town on vacation, probably had about ten unexcused absences from home games in over 35 years (half of them occurring during the KA debacle.). I have suite tickets, a great parking pass, and did not remotely consider attending last night’s moronically scheduled game. I am going to give the Eastern Illinois game a shot. If we somehow lose that, I will not attend another game until we have a new coach. Even if we win, it will probably be hit and miss. We have a lot of 8:00 tipoffs coming up during conference play, and as much as I force myself to drink to watch this garbage, it will be tough to safely find my way home….
