There's a progression here.
Students are now considered employees of the school. Their scholarships are now income. And maybe they were paying taxes on scholarships before but my gut says medical care, food and board, all that should be taxable. For some reason, the school can't pay them but I think if that was challenged that would fold. And then it becomes a bidding war for what essentially is the minor leagues. Which is good for states that don't have an NFL team like cities with only a minor league baseball team. And because it's so spread out you're going to see kids who don't get paid what their parents think they deserve and the kid bounces around and doesn't get the education that could have made a difference. And I get it, a lot of kids do go just to play and leave college the same as when they got there but the marginal kids, the ones who do get that opportunity, some are going to fall back downwards. Ultimately, it's a CF. None of this helps Missouri.
