Ever have a friend almost throw his life away just due to

Seen it happen a few times. One used all the logic and reasoning to justify getting high while in college. He was trying to keep up with an engineering student who would get high just to work on statics and dynamics problems, just to clear his mind. Graduated at the top of his class at Mizzou.
This other friend ended up flunking out and going home to work as a janitor. He couldn't keep up with the class valedictorian. Mom found his bong after he flunked out and the shìt hit the fan.
Dad worked for big oil and got transferred from Wood River to Louisiana. They laid down the law. Live at home, no pot, attend LSU. Ended up getting his engineering degree and eventually back at STL and had a career with McD.
And that's just one friend.
So go ahead and keep your head in the sand about the long term affects--especially on brain development for young teens.
