The article said about 70% of the people in the state have been vaxxed and yet the hospitals are overwhelmed.

We're almost 2 years into a pandemic with a highly contagious virus... about when drop in other similar respiratory system outbreaks of a new contagion even without a vaccine and more than half of the people have already been vaccinated, but the hospitals are still overwhelmed?

Things just don't seem to add up very well.
