1. It slipped out of his hand and he made the poor decision to go ahead with the throwing motion and just barely got any forward momentum on the ball.
2. He was trying to pump fake and it slipped out of his hand.

The first interception would not have happened if he had thrown it on a rope, but I don’t think I have ever seen him do that.
